RAAF Ensign - Royal Australian Air Force Flag - RAAF Blue Ensign
The RAAF Flag is a "light blue Australian Flag" with the union jack in the upper hoist. Below is the seven pointed Commonwealth star with the five stars of the Southern Cross tilted clockwise 14 degrees within the fly end, along with the RAAF roundel featuring a leaping kangaroo in the lower fly. In 1982, the roundel on the RAAF Ensign was altered to include the red kangaroo in motion. The new design was then approved by HRH Queen Elizabeth II and proclaimed official.
Apart from RAAF bases and the AAFC there is only one other facillity within Australia with official permission to fly the RAAF Ensign, New Lambton Public School, Newcastle NSW. Recognition was granted after the School was used by the RAAF & WAAAF in 1942 as a fighter sector headquarters during WWII.

Torres Strait Islander Flag
The Torres Strait Islander flag was officially proclaimed the flag of the Torres Strait Islander people of Australia in July 1992, and given equal prominence with the Aboriginal Flag. A three-panelled flag fimbrillated in black. A stylised white dhari (dancer's headdress) set in the centre of the blue panel, with a five pointed star beneath it. The colour green is said to represent the land, the blue is for the sea, white represents peace and black stands for the people. The five pointed star represents the various island groups and is also used for navigation.
